I read ‘The Hunger Games’ today. These are my thoughts.
MADDIE’S THOUGHTS:
I wish it had come out a few years ago, I’d have liked it far better.
I don’t care for Katniss at all. Her voice is all wrong, and she’s such a mary sue and oh my god shut up lady.
Kinda tempted to read the next books, but I won’t. To wikipedia!
I don’t know if I’d see the movie. Probably not. Unless I hear nothing but good reviews.
I’m really glad I didn’t pay for the pleasure to read it though.

Comparable to: Artemis Fowl series.
Would I read it again: no
Would I suggest it to anyone: as far a pre-teen to teen fiction goes, it was alright. Anyone under 17. I would gift it to younger siblings.
